Warren: Fury Will Face AJ if He Gets His Price, Promises Knockout Victory

Tyson Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, has confirmed that his fighter will face Anthony Joshua in 2026, but only if the financial terms are met. Warren believes that Fury has the beating of Joshua and is confident that he will emerge victorious in the highly anticipated bout.

Details

According to Warren, Fury will only agree to face Joshua if he receives a satisfactory offer. “What will encourage Tyson is the financial aspect of it,” Warren explained. “Anthony Joshua knocks out Jake Paul in sixth round of Miami fight.” Warren also stated that Fury and Joshua will both have warm-up fights before facing each other in August or September 2026.

Fury’s Confidence in Knocking Out Joshua

Warren expressed his confidence in Fury’s ability to knock out Joshua, citing his opponent’s tendency to get caught with good jabs and uppercuts. “Tyson will knock him out,” Warren declared. “He’s a big puncher. AJ is not hard to hit and he’s in with a boxer, a proper fighter who’s got a big chin.”

Location of the Fight

The location of the fight will be determined by the financial terms, with Warren stating that the fighters will go where the money is. The Riyadh Season is a possible venue for the bout, with Warren confirming that the fight could take place in Saudi Arabia.

Joshua’s Performance Against Paul

Warren was unimpressed with Joshua’s performance against Jake Paul, stating that he would fancy Fury even more after watching the bout. “There’s a few times that he got caught by Jake Paul. He caught him with a couple of good jabs and he caught him with a good uppercut. He [Paul] was just too small,” Warren said.
