Porto’s Froholt and Gomes on the Rise
Victor Froholt, the 19-year-old midfielder from FC Porto, has seen his market value increase by 36.4% to €30 million. Despite only joining the club last summer, Froholt has established himself as an undisputed starter, showcasing his quality and potential. Transfermarkt Area Manager Portugal Gonçalo Tristão Santos praises Froholt as “one of the most promising midfielders in the world” and believes that Porto is developing his potential well.
Another Porto player, William Gomes, has also seen his market value increase by 33.3% to €20 million. Although he often comes off the bench, Gomes has been one of FC Porto’s most influential players this season, bringing something extra to the game and leaving his mark.
Talents on the Move: Simões and Prestianni
Away from Porto, two other talents have stood out in the December market value update. Sporting’s João Simões has seen his market value increase by 150% to €15 million. The 18-year-old midfielder has been a surprise of the season at Sporting, already considered a regular starter in Rui Borges’ team.
