Tottenham Player Set to Trigger Contract Termination Clause

Details

Tottenham Hotspur may soon welcome back winger Manor Solomon, who has struggled to make an impact at La Liga side Villarreal. The 24-year-old Israeli international left Tottenham in the summer on a loan deal, but it appears that his time in Spain may be coming to an end.

Reason for Return

Solomon has made only 10 appearances for Villarreal, scoring one goal and providing four assists. Despite his talent, he seems to be out of favor with manager Marcelino Garcia Toral, which has led to speculation that he may seek an early exit. According to reports, Solomon is frustrated with his lack of game time and may look to return to Tottenham when the transfer window opens in January.

Contractual Clause

There is a clause in the loan deal between Tottenham and Villarreal that allows Solomon to unilaterally terminate the agreement. This would enable him to return to Tottenham, although it’s unclear whether the club would be willing to take him back.

Potential Suitors

If Solomon does become available, he may attract interest from other Premier League clubs. West Ham and Leeds United have both been linked with a move for the winger, who impressed during his loan spell at Elland Road last season.

Tottenham’s Approach

Tottenham may view Solomon’s return as an opportunity to sell him for a good price, given that he is contracted to the club until the end of the 2027-28 season. However, it’s likely that the club would only consider another loan deal in January, rather than a permanent transfer.
